The Estudio side is closed for a few renovations as they will no longer allow children on that side, they're going to adult only, I forgot to ask if there will be a name change or if they'll continue to be Atelier/Estudio, from what they said, it won't take long and should be completed by the time I return.
The beauty of this entire resort is actually jaw dropping, especially for those who experience it for the 1st time. In my opinion, it's a 5 star all the way. The resort is actually spotless, they're always working on every aspect from the rooms, restaurants, and the grounds (note the video walk through in the links below).
The food and drinks are delicious, the chefs, servers, bartender's, and beach/pool butlers all strive for perfection and they do it well. What I love is that the floors near the beds in the rooms light up, so you can find your way in the dark if need be.
This was locust season at this time of year in Mexico, we woke up one morning to a badly damaged one on our balcony, (in the photos at the below link) one of the employees later told me that the birds think they will taste go, they kill them :( and then find out that they're not all that great, and leave then behind...in pieces.
